Woodland North Lavender Farm is a small farm, owned and operated by Bonnie & Derek Moore located in Madoc, Ontario. This farm property is steeped in heritage, a home built in 1888 and land that has hosted an interesting landscape for many generations. Otherwise known as "Happy Face Hill", we have loved hearing the stories of our neighbours about this lovely farm! The Lavender Farm was born with our first planting in July of 2021 and a total of 650 plants went into the ground! Having never grown anything before, we jumped into the challenge and found our soil to be the best for Lavender growing conditions! We started with 3 varieties and have now grown to have 7! With over 1700 plants to date, we hand harvest with loving care, each and every plant!
Bonnie is available to host your custom workshop, corporate event or bring the Lavender learning to your location! Contact for details.
Woodland North is more than just lavender, it's about nature. Our goal is to help you smile, improve your state of mind, encourage relaxation and create a sense of calm. Leave the office behind, come rejuvenate, create, learn, unwind! A chance to breathe in nature. A great place for a relaxing afternoon, we have picnic tables, bistro sets and a lounge area. We have a sun shelter and don't forget the farm shoppe where you will find farm made and local artisan products for your home, bath and body! A wonderful place to attend for all ages! For those with mobility issues, please park beside the Farm Shoppe for easier access to the field.
