Woodland North Lavender Farm is a small farm, owned and operated by Bonnie & Derek Moore located in Madoc, Ontario. This farm property is steeped in heritage, a home built in 1888 and land that has hosted an interesting landscape for many generations. Otherwise known as "Happy Face Hill", we have loved hearing the stories of our neighbours about this lovely farm.
This season will offer a variety of activities and experiences, stay tuned to our social media for updates. The Lavender Farm was born with our first planting in July of 2021. 650 plants went into the ground! Having never grown anything before, we jumped into the challenge and found our soil to be the best for Lavender growing conditions! We started with 3 varieties and have now grown to have 8! We are always adding to our crop, our relaxations spaces and the shoppe. Our lavender is hand planted, hand harvested and hand pruned by Bonnie. Each plant is handled, cared for and pruned with love and encouragement for future healthy growth. We are looking forward to a wonderful 2024 season with you! You will see Bonnie in the field daily!
Woodland North is more than just lavender, it's about nature. Our goal is to help you smile, improve your state of mind, encourage relaxation and create a sense of calm. Leave the office behind, come rejuvenate, create, learn, unwind! A chance to breathe in nature and breathe out stress. Enjoy the blooms, the sun and a savoury treat. A great place for a relaxing afternoon, we have picnic tables, bistro sets and a lounge area. We also have a sun shelter and don't forget the farm shoppe where you will find farm made and local artisan products for your home, bath and body!
